Active researchers. Matched by field.
Every ScholarBridge mentor is selected for academic strength, communication ability, and genuine suitability for working with university-bound students. Matching is done by field overlap — not by availability.
Active researchers
Mentors are PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, or subject specialists currently working in their field — not career tutors or recent graduates. Their research knowledge is current and deep.
Matched by field, not calendar
A student interested in behavioural economics works with someone who researches it. A student exploring neuroscience works with a neuroscientist. The quality of mentorship depends on genuine subject proximity.
Selected for communication
Academic expertise is necessary but not sufficient. Mentors who join ScholarBridge can engage a high school student — translate the demands of their field without condescending, and challenge thinking without overwhelming it.
Individual mentor profiles coming soon
Mentor profiles are added as we build out our network. Each mentor is personally vetted for academic strength and communication ability before joining. In the meantime, the consultation is where we discuss mentor matching for your specific student.
Discuss mentor matching in the consultationMentorship across six disciplines
Mentor availability across disciplines may vary. We confirm suitability for each student's specific area of interest during the consultation.
Find your mentor
Mentor matching begins after the consultation, once we understand the student's research direction and field of interest.
