Premium 1-to-1

Research Scholar
Programme

ScholarBridge's flagship offering. Matched 1-to-1 with a PhD-level mentor, you spend 8–12 weeks developing a focused research question in your chosen field and producing a student-led academic project — the kind of work that gives a university application genuine intellectual weight.

Who This Programme Is For

Students ready to develop a genuine research question of their own

The Research Scholar programme is for students who have an area of serious intellectual interest and are ready to go deeper than the school curriculum allows. You don't need to arrive with a fully formed research question — part of what your mentor does in the first sessions is help you find and focus one. What you do need is genuine curiosity, the willingness to read demanding material, and the discipline to develop an argument across several weeks of structured work.

This is ScholarBridge's most intensive offering. It is designed for students applying to competitive universities who want their application to say something specific and intellectually substantive about what they have done.

Student Profiles

  • The university-focused student

Applying to a competitive UK or international university and wants a personal statement and portfolio that go significantly beyond grades and predicted marks.

  • The independently minded learner

Already reading beyond the syllabus, curious about where ideas come from, and ready to develop that curiosity into a structured academic project with expert guidance.

  • The seminar graduate

Has completed the Research Seminars programme and is ready to take a specific question all the way through to a finished piece of academic work.

Best for

Students in Years 10–13 (ages 15–18) with a clear subject interest, aiming for competitive university programmes in the UK, US, or Europe. The programme is available across all six ScholarBridge fields.
