Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026 · Next review: July 2027
ScholarBridge is committed to making its website usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as part of doing this well, not as an afterthought.
1. The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard referenced by accessibility law in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the site over time.
2. Steps we have taken
In building and maintaining this site we have worked to:
- Use clear, readable typography with sufficient colour contrast.
- Structure pages with proper headings and landmarks so they can be navigated with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Keep content readable when text is enlarged and when the site is viewed on a range of screen sizes.
- Ensure the site remains usable when JavaScript is unavailable.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, some services embedded from third parties, such as the application form and the scheduling tool, are controlled by those providers, and their accessibility is their responsibility. If an embedded service prevents you from completing something, please contact us and we will help you complete it another way.
4. Getting help another way
If you cannot access any part of this site, or cannot complete an enquiry or application because of an accessibility barrier, we will help you directly. Contact us and we will provide the information or complete the step with you by email or another method that works for you.
5. Reporting a barrier
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you find a barrier, please tell us what happened, the page you were on, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, so we can look into it. Email us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
6. Review
This statement is reviewed at least annually, and updated as we improve the site.
