Which programme is the right starting point?

Five questions about the student's stage, direction, and experience. You get a personalised starting point across Research Scholar, Field Seminars, and Academic Essentials, and a clear next step.

Indicative only. The recommendation is confirmed at the interview, and we will say honestly if a different route fits better.

Answer for the student, parents are welcome to complete it on their behalf.

Step 1 / 5 Stage

Where is the student now?

Relative to university applications, whichever system they study in.

For counsellors

This tool works as a structured conversation starter with students and families. It connects a student's stage, direction, and readiness to a sensible programme shape, without replacing your own judgement. Share it freely.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Programme Finder free?

Yes, and no sign-up is needed to see your recommendation. There is an optional email step afterwards if you want the next steps sent to you, but the full result appears whether or not you use it.

Does this decide which programme I get?

No. It is indicative only. The recommendation is a starting point for the interview, where we confirm it against the actual work the student has done, their timeline, and their goals. The programme, schedule, and fee are then given in writing.

Will it tell me if I am not ready yet?

Yes. Some answer combinations return a recommendation to consolidate existing work first. We would rather say that than sell a programme that does not fit, and we will also say when a different provider is the better option.

Does it predict university admission?

No, and you should be sceptical of any tool that claims to. Admissions decisions depend on grades, admissions tests, interviews, references, and the strength of the applicant pool in a given year. This tool assesses programme fit and nothing beyond it.

This tool is indicative and does not predict admissions outcomes. The final programme recommendation is confirmed during the interview, where we also say honestly when a different programme, or a different provider, is the better fit.
